1. Material Condition
Client acknowledges that all items supplied for engraving must be:
-
Unpacked and ready for engraving
-
Free of defects, dents, uneven surfaces, or finish inconsistencies
-
Consistent in size, shape, and geometry
2. Non-Uniform Items
If items differ in size, shape, or finish (common with many mass-produced or imported products), the Service Provider will perform engraving on a best‑effort basis. Minor variations in alignment, depth, and appearance are normal and not considered defects.
3. Risk Acknowledgment
Engraving on client-supplied items is performed at the client’s own risk, especially when:
-
Surfaces are uneven or curved
-
Items vary in height or geometry
-
Wood density differs between pieces
-
Items are lacquered, oiled, or coated with unknown finishes
4. Test Engravings
Client agrees to supply 1–3 extra pieces for testing when working with inconsistent materials.
5. Unbagging & Rebagging
Standard engraving pricing assumes all items are delivered unpacked.
If items arrive individually wrapped, unbagging/rebagging is available as a paid handling service.
6. No Guarantees on Non-Standard Items
The Service Provider cannot guarantee perfect symmetry or identical engraving results when items are not uniform.
7. Acceptance of Risk
By providing materials for engraving, client accepts all risks associated with engraving on non-uniform, defective, or inconsistent items.
